“Disciplining yourself to do what is right and important, although difficult, is the highroad to pride, self-esteem, and personal self-satisfaction”

This means that eventually when you always choose the right it becomes your second nature. Like when you first born your body learn to breathe as will your body learns to choose the right.

Voicing your goals to someone else can help you make a decision and figure out your priorities. It can also help you judge whether you can do both—work and study—successfully. To help answer this question ask yourself……
·       Am I an organized person?
·       What kind of study habits do I have?
·       Do I make good use of my time?
Think about the pros and cons of working. On the minus side, a job can cut into your study time

“To know what is right and not do it is the worst cowardice”

I think this means that if you know what’s right and you don’t do it it’s like being a coward and running from the truth. For example if you know someone who ctw and you didn’t tell anyone you’re being a coward.

But to every mind there openth
A way, and a way, and away
A high soul climbs the highway
And the low soul gropes the low
And in between on the misty flats
The rest drift to and fro

But everyman there openth
A high way and a low
And every mind decidith
The way his soul shall go
One ship sails east,
And another west
By the self-same winds that blow
‘tis the set of the sails
And not the gales
That tells the way we go
Like the winds of the sea
Are the waves of time
As we journey along with life
‘tis the set of the soul
That determines the goal
And not the calm or the strife

“A man without a goal is like a ship without rutters”

It means you always have to keep your goal in mind so that you can accomplish it. If you don’t and you just go aimlessly you don’t know what to do.
